Activity Report of Utkal Theosophical
Federation from April to June 2026.
Study Classes
On 25th and 26th April, two days’ study classes were conducted in the memory of Sis Devaki Manjari Mahapatra on the topic “Life and Teaching of Saint Kabir” by our Federation Lecturer Bro. Pramod Chandra Mishra at UTF Building.
Bro. Pradip Kumar Mahapatra conducted online study class on the book “The Voice of the Silence”, Sis Paurnamasi Pattanaik conducted online study class on the book “The Divine Plan”, Sis. Mitalini Choudhury conducted online study class on the book “The Mahatma Letter”, Bro. Pramod Chandra Mishra conducted online study class on the book “ The Bhagawad Gita” and Bro. Satyabrat Rath conducted online study class on the book “The Master and the Path” from Monday to Sunday accordingly.
Every Thursday we are conducting online study class on the book “Shree Guru Charane” for new members. Every Sunday we are studying and discussing on the book “The Self Culture “.
Utkal Theosophical Federation organised a Study Camp at Bhawali from 18th to 22nd May on the book “At the feet of the Master”. 22 participants participated in this Study Camp. Sis. Suvralina Mohanty was the Director of the Camp.
On 21st and 22nd June, Sis. Paurnamasi Pattnaik conducted two days’ study class on the book “ The Practical Occultism” at BTF.
UTF organised the Young lndia Theosophists programme from 25th to 28th Jun. Young Theosophists from different parts of lndia actively participated on study, discussion , Seminar, meditation, Bharat Samaj puja and yoga. Bro Shikhar Agnihotri was the Programme Director.
Celebrating Important Functions
On 27th April, Laxminarayan Lodge celebrated its Foundation Day at UTF Building. Bro. Pradip Kumar Mahapatra was the Chief Guest and he spoke on “Search for Truth”.
On 1st May Wesak festival was celebrated. UTF President spoke on importance of Budha Purnima, Secretary Sis. Mitalini read out the Wesak festival from the book “ The Master and the Path”. Dr Akhaya Kumar Mishra delivered lecture on “Perception is Work”.
On 16th May, UTF Celebrated its FOUNDATION DAY at UTF building. Dr. Chinmayee Mohapatra, Vice President of UTF spoke on “History of UTF”, Sis. Paurnamasi Pattanaik spoke on “How to Propagate Theosophy”, Sis. Sushree Sankhipta spoke on “How Theosophical Principle helps us to solve our problems” and Bro. Binaya Malik spoke on “How we disseminate Theosophy among the youth”. Vote of thanks was given by Sis. Mitalini.
Public lecture
On 3rd June Sis. Mitalini delivered speech on “Annie Besant’s life and Contributions” to the school students.
On 30th June, Bro. Pradip Kumar Mahapatra gave online lecture on the topic “Theosophy and Theosophical Society” .He and Bro. Bhabani Sankar Mohanty actively participate in the question answer session.
From April to June, Barabati Lodge conducted online lectures on every Monday inviting National Lecturer and Eminent speakers.
Propagation
Dr. Deepa Padhi, Ex-International Vice President wrote number of Theosophical articles which were published in Political Business Daily newspaper. On 5th May her article was published on “The Power of Love; Humanity’s Last Hope” and on 29th “The World Beneath the Mask”.
